A unique and special bond is always shared by grandparents and grandchildren. Surprisingly, despite their age difference, they always have fun together and are always excited and thrilled to see one another. Like their grandkids, grandparents were young once too. They too had fun and memorable moments in their childhood. These memories are filled with fun and laughter with playmates and friends.

Today’s children’s games are different than those of the past. Years ago, games would include ballgames, toy guns, simple dolls and other toys made from initiative and creativity. Children of these times would often play by acting out parts from their favorite stories such as that of Indians, cowboys, pirates and soldiers. Usually, they would just have fun in the yard and come back inside to snack on retro sweets from sweet hampers.

Today, however, kids’ past time include computer and videogames, digital and battery-operated toys, and fashionable dolls. At malls, recreation centers and computer venues, children are always seen spending hours playing by the arcades. These places offer a lot of choices in computer games and thus kids take a break only to snack on treats such as that of sweet hampers.

Comparing the games and toys now, there is undoubtedly a lot of difference. One thing that remained, however, are the love of sweet treats found in sweet hampers by these children.

Sweet hampers are known to contain retro sweets and many modern day sugary and creamy confections that are surely the favorites by a lot of people. Young and old in fact are enjoying the delicious and flavorful treats given by these sweet hampers. But not only the young and old; all kinds of people find almost all their favorite delectable sweets in these colorful and pretty baskets and it doesn’t matter whether they love lollies, gums, chocolates, and other heavenly confections.

Currently, when grandchildren and grandparents come together, they always share stories and create unforgettable memories. And while they are in their happy moments together, they would share treats and snacks in different colors, flavors and sizes. Parents, at this point, surely know that they cannot keep their kids from going to grandma and grandpa.

So every time kids and their grandparents see each other, they should always bring extra sweet hampers for them to enjoy. Because while they are in the zone sharing stories and laughter, it always helps to fill up with sweets just like they always do.
