Great Energy Beverages To Act As Alternatives To Coffee
Author: Paul Anderson // Category: drinksIf you’re like me, you might need a fix of caffeine to start every day. My mornings are unproductive without it, and a nice cup of coffee always gives me an ample kick start to the day.
I love coffee, and don’t mind drinking it but there are some who don’t like the idea of being addicted to it. For those who don’t like to overdose on the coffee there are many alternatives.
It doesn’t really matter what the reasoning is behind wanting to give myself an energy boost, all that really matters for me is that I like it and that it works.
One thing that you can do is go the energy drink route. There are hundreds of different options for energy drinks, some of them more natural than others. There’s Red Bull, Monster, Rock Star, and a handful of other brands that you should find in just about every store.
For me, the best has to be sugar free Monster. Usually I find that anything surgery, although giving me an initial burst of energy, will also give me an energy crash fairly soon after.
Energy shots are another great way to get a quick energy fix. They don’t contain as many calories but will still do a great job of keeping you awake. Red Bull has come up with a product of their own and other brands are soon catching on.
Green tea is really nice, it’s refreshing and it doesn’t have to be plain, you can add your own flavoring to it like rose essence and this along with other natural teas such as wheat grass tea will really help to give you a natural energy boost. It really is perfect for those that want a natural rather than a chemical alternative to coffee.
I’m sure all of these ideas will give you the motivation to give up coffee, and don’t forget after trying out a few, you can always go back on the coffee for a bit. As they say, once an addict, always an addict.
